Every Wednesday there's something very unusual going down at Supercasino:
Where leaderboard races run by other casinos simply involve earning points by betting as much as possible, Supercasino have introduced a very different challenge, which will really require some strategic input from you:
These two/three-hour tournies works by awarding you a point for every pound you bet - but it's subject to a special multiplier, that gets larger the higher your odds are.
If you make a bet that leaves just 5 to 12 squares uncovered, every £1 you bet on that spin will be multiplied by 0.75. This is the lowest multiplier, and it's understandably less than one as you're very likely to win.
Make a bet leaving 13-24 numbers uncovered, however, and you'll get a 1.5 times multiplier applied to your bets, so for example if you bet $10 you'd get 15 points.
Leave 25-36 numbers uncovered, however, and you'll get the largest multiplier of 2 times, making a $10 bet earn you 20 points.
In case you're wondering, the green slot does count (you can bet on it after all...), so you will need to make bets to earn points - but a double multiplier for a bet covering just 11 squares is good value, though you'll need to work out what kind of odds you're prepared to accept on your bet and balance that out against how badly you want to win the tourney!
This will be different for every player, and consequently the tourney makes for an intriguing strategical puzzle that's for more interesting than the average points race. Do you go all out to win the competition, or play it safer and give yourself lower odds? It's up to you, but one player will be coming out with a $100 prize twice every Wednesday.
