Workshop: Plexiglass Drypoint Etching
November 5 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Drypoint is an Intaglio process that creates black lines on white paper. The drypoint process is one of the most direct Intaglio methods because one works with an etching tool on the plate without the need for acid baths. In this workshop, you will learn how to create an image on plexiglas, how to ink and wipe the plate, how to use a hand etching press, and how to print and number an edition of prints. You can bring images to work with, use available magazines, or draw in a spontaneous manner.
