Lynn Reif

Artist in Residence

Lynn Reif is a native of the Milwaukee area; Artist, devoted Student of Vedanta and Yoga Science, Photographer, Teacher, and Business owner. She graduated from Columbia College  in Chicago with a BA; concentration: Film. She spent 4 years in Chicago under IATSE Local 476 working as a Grip/ Electrician on films, commercials and music videos. She then spent  15 years as a Sales Representative for Film Production Companies, working closely with Executive Producers & Directors, and the advertising industry’s top Creative Directors.

From 2008 she’s taught Yoga full time, immersed herself in further contemplative studies and continues to hone her artistic offerings. She founded Ashtanga Circle Yoga Center upon returning to Milwaukee in 2011. She’s also produced photography for cookbooks, yoga training booklets, Portrait work, flora, and various community studies. Creatively she is most curious about the subtle joy, the evident main theme regardless of her choice of medium. She is thrilled to have this opportunity to work at redline and develop her voice further, challenging both herself and the community at large to seek the bigger picture and yet remain delicately connected to the subtle nature of all things. “ It is of no importance what makes us different from each other.
